here I am, I'm back here
this summer has been very hard for me ... two jobs .. new house under renovation and various thoughts ... not even a moment's peace!

" ENTRIES Creepy" is an unexpected result of a collaboration between Eugene and Fred Villani Fronterre. was born of my first zucchini from my garden!
but it is not beautiful??
sorry for you ... maybe it will be bullshit but it has always been my dream to have a vegetable garden and this year (with the purchase of the new house), I tried to plant a bit 'of little things ....
all made fun of me that would not be born at all (and the "mother-in-law" gufava ...) but the garden is planting exploded and I picked my first zucchini!!
now I come .... are there other 'that gradually grow in the meantime ... I think how to cook ... you have any idea?

Two days ago CROCK Festival was held in Cremona, special guests Afterhours (which I do not like, I prefer the group Sydrojè shoulder). Before them, it was shown the video SEVEN, by myself and Mark Connell, directors and Eugenio Federico Villani Fronterre. In short, it was half disaster, the image was too dark, some lights on stage bothered and the whole evening was burdened with a sense of nervousness made on grounds very simple: a little veiled indifference by means of appropriate equipment hirer without any kind of technical support (the word "service" should be used when the service is) , a lineup that does not exist, who left the sound and lighting technicians unaware of our presence, a situation in which, except for my co-workers, artists and curators do not always + support staff were in harmony (in some If I risked I nerves, maybe it happened, I do not know, I trust the alcohol has erased some unpleasant memories).
I reserve the right to speak in detail at another time the situation of art in Cremona (but widening the focal length I could not really say anything too positive on the scene in Milan and other territories). Even so, outside of pre-packaged cultural situations, sometimes maybe just to satisfy certain governments, political consensus to raise or divert flows of money into stagnant pools of platitudes, are certainly great satisfaction: the pleasure of being among the artists who worked on this project, the appeal of sharing ideas and opinions with a few, rare intelligent people, the awareness that, apart from the poor of spirit, there are still people have the capacity to wonder, to perceive that something so childish and now undervalued call magic (apparently fit only for the film and the literary bestseller), then love, of course, hope that goes for the estimation, the filter that allows you to see things for what they are. Above, the poster Crock Festival 2009, held June 13, which will house, among the group Sydrojè and Afterhours , the projection of the video edited by me and made Fronterre and Eugenio Federico Villani for directing and editing, edited by Mark Connell for what concerns the electronic music, with his brother Massimo and Nikolas Compiani. I reserve the next post for the brief biographies of the artists, the "report" of evening and for some reflection on the working method adopted by music and video in relation to this project.

What Happened To Rasputin



"As part of Planet Youth, a project funded by the Lombardy Region and leader he sees as the Municipality of Cremona - Youth Service, was born 7note , cultural path for young artists, aimed at realization an overview of artistic and musical and connected to a periodic publication of promotional and cultural insights. Not a great and unique show, but a series of initiatives that Circuit in several places including Mondomusica2009. 7note is provided by Centro Fumetto A. Patience "in collaboration with Attraversarte Services - Youth of the Municipality of Cremona, with the Music Center" The Cascinetto and cultural associations with many youth in our area. Project which I will deal a lot on this blog, even why (except for some small thing to fix yet) now that I finally put up with all the events handled by Wunder, I can devote more attention to initiatives quotas.
"The project has seven creative paths (the notes) that link one type of music (Jazz , classical, electro , punk, funk , songwriting, industrial / post-rock ) in an artistic language ( painting, writing , video, photography , comic , performance, installations / visual arts ) designed by young artists with the help of young curators. "
So there I embarked on this new adventure (or misadventure, we'll see). For the moment, nobody knows for sure how it will play things (there are still administrative problems, economic and all those things to expect when it comes to large-scale cultural events), but this did not prevent the section MUSIC VIDEO-ELECTRONICS (edited by myself and Mark Connell ) starting to work. The first event was born from this union is the creation of an experimental video, essentially the intent of training and mutual understanding, based on art and the unconscious (and very free), which was directed and edited by both artists, carefully chosen for their ambition and technical capacity for expression: Fronterre and Eugenio Federico Villani . The video will be available primarily on the web (as a sort of spot 7note ), but will also be projected and installed where I see fit and artists work in progress.
I will not elaborate much, for now, soon there will be no way to address more carefully the dynamics of this project, and to give space to all those who worked. The gallery of portraits that crowds this blog is set to expand, also because many will be those who join the section MUSIC VIDEO-ELECTRONICS actively participating, as many will be those who will give their support and stand behind the lines. Part of my job is to make sure that nobody is left out, not even the boy sandwiches (which in some cases I could be myself, given the amount of work).
Interested parties may visit this site , where you can read the electronic journal specially dedicated to the event (a banner at the bottom of every post and on the right hand column is used to same purpose). Although this blog will shed light on many details of the work of the section MUSIC VIDEO-ELECTRONICS, will be the magazine on the web to give information which is essential for a proper understanding of this large fresco art - but perhaps it is appropriate to speak of "score" Art, as the theme ...
