III: Cigoli

Anna manages to mingle among people unaware of being the daughter of the green world, to be companion of the Sylphs, dryads, that realm of women that has its roots (literally) in the soil of the earth. Its reality is not something that can physically reach, but a twinning that changes when he takes his brush and cancels the distance between her and the secret world where all people, perhaps, to some extent we belong. Anna more than others, probably. Because without being cloying, trite, predictable, manages to make us perceive the secrets of which she herself does not know the content, but that is unconsciously guardian. It is not easy to grasp all this, because not enough intelligence and the critical assessment, we must let go and forget for a moment its rationality, and replace them with one thought in mind when paying by small trees seem bigger than they can be today we are used to surviving branches. It is not easy, but it is worth. For those not in a hurry, and for those who still believe, is of course.

Donna Anna and Superstition II: Fausto Merli

Women who could be there, what were those that only dream about in the magazines, wet dreams of acid. A series of prints of women, sensuality washed out, a point of view on the lapidary beauty. What is gone? No, that remains strong, in fact it is vindicated with greater clarity, as in the pictures that cemeteries are there forever, until they fall on their own or someone breaks. A lady with the palms up, in this remote past or present, which shows disarmed. Is it?
Here is the line of purple Fausto Merli ...

Woman and The Superstition: The White Rabbit

Syria Bertorelli, which opened this series of exhibitions on Women and the Superstition Area Wunderkammer , archetipizza the femininity of the new millennium. Deeply emancipated to be always sure of his artistic journey, Syria filters doing their job to go through a 360-degree view of what is the concept of woman these days, some youthful platitudes. Syria Bertorelli do not play the martyr meticulous Art Academy (from always the prerogative of the dominant males of this or that current), or exploits so irritating the ruthlessness of the typical female glamor, nice pin-up era of media in which sublimates the sensuality of their talent. If anything is situated in a perfect alchemy between the two concepts, playing with the roles he claimed his own psychological security, a seriousness that goes first to the joke, expertise based on understanding. The same can be seen in his work.
Little Red Riding Hood the wolf kills herself before becoming a Little werewolf. The tale soon becomes eternal curse. If there is one lesson is that the child is dead, and to say with the philosophy Angela Carter, is coming off the woman, powerful creature (from the Latin dominates ), a small god imprisoned by the wisdom and fear of man into beast form of servile and submissive. For the moment, at least ...

Bertorelli Syria: Women and superstition, even

The White Rabbit is presented as an editorial-like. This is not a consumer product in the sense commodity, as from the beginning its curators have developed a concept of "merchantability" which looks at the art catalog, magazine, fanzine, and the medium of a different nature - in a non- casual, but causal , the Web and its synthetic capacity, protean and arbitrary, it was a reference model. From the beginning the book was so distinguished for its intrinsic form of freedom, moving artists to self-analysis and self-criticism.

The project Women and Superstition the book is bound (one of the first "paperless" which has occupied the space Wunderkammer), threatened to never see the light, despite the efforts made by the artists involved in (Mark Anzalone, Claudio Arisi, Victoria Attianese, Syria Bertorelli, Anna Cigoli, Francesca Dalla Benetta, Elisa Boldori, Renato Florindo, Fabio Guarneri, Gianluca Mangano, Fausto Merli, Riccardo Pirovano, Tentolini George and myself, plus the contributions of Pierre Bouillon, Don Giovanni and Giovanni Trabucco Locatelli) . I never really understood what went wrong, perhaps the art group had lost the enthusiasm necessary to complete the project, perhaps the circuit Attraversarte which was sponsored by the White Rabbit had to promote projects quotas. In any case, whatever the reasons (which may be reflected in another time, and maybe I will), we Space Wunderkammer we decided, after about a year after the printing of the booklet (which was the mold in their boxes) , to do some 'our idea, to organize small exhibitions and distribute the theme "White Rabbit: Women and superstition, too." The booklet was 'released' not only to Cremona, but also in Milan on a massive scale, and has made appearances in bookshops and English pubs in and around London, and of course in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwhere perhaps he has found his ideal client. For exhibitions Spazio Wunderkammer Instead, Maria and I have been able to take a small budget with which (hallelujah) to respond to advertising costs (real flyer in color rather than black and white photocopies of which were used).

Below are a few 'of images from the book, but I intend to post a pdf downloadable on the future (when I understand how to do).

Fifth Wunderkammer : Pierre Bouillon

If less than half of the professors of the Academy of Brera in Milan was like Pierre Bouillon, I believe there is still hope for Italian art. Pierluigi know a considerable number of years, was my teacher of artistic anatomy, and was also a "master", a term better suited to this man who, after a life full of artistic events, many major , decided to come here, and very humbly sets in our little space "underground", he exhibited his drawings, stories (and men) mice.
As cells of a dream world, these mice make things, animate them, until the next landslide at the next epiphany, which disperses them and immediately reorganizes them into something that perhaps more than an idea in the world, is a fractal of ' soul.
